I tried this shampoo and conditioner, set and exchange for my honest review and I was pleasantly surprised at how soft it made my hair. My hair feels a lot more manageable, it’s very soft and what I really liked about the product is that it smells very nice, like orange blossoms. The shampoo is quite thick and it is easy to lather. Today I woke up and my hair was very soft and beautiful whereas it’s usually very dry and difficult to manage

I have fine, straight, and thin hair, My hair type presents a unique set of challenges: it’s easily weighed down, gets oily quickly, and tends to look flat and lifeless. After using it for a week, I can confidently say it’s a game-changer for my hair type. A little goes a long way, which is a big plus considering the price. I only need about a quarter-sized amount. It leaves my hair feeling genuinely clean and refreshed. I see a noticeable difference in volume and lift, especially at the roots. My hair has more bounce and body, and it feels fuller. It has a natural-looking, soft fullness that allows my straight hair to move with more life and flow. I’ve noticed a significant reduction in breakage and split ends. My hair feels stronger and more resilient, and it has a healthy shine that was previously hard to achieve without weighing it down with heavy conditioning products. It has become my new holy grail shampoo.

Clean and light!

The Olaplex No.4 Shampoo is such a pleasant surprise. It gives my hair a thorough cleanse without leaving any heavy feeling or residue behind. The lather is rich and foamy, making it easy to work through my scalp, and the scent is lovely & fresh with a hint of citrus that lingers lightly after rinsing. I’ve noticed my fine hair feels cleaner and has a bit more body since I started using it, which is a big plus. Overall, it’s gentle but effective and makes my hair feel healthy and refreshed every wash.

A good shampoo for medium hair too!

I received the Olaplex No. 4 and No. 5 Fine Hair Shampoo and Conditioner Duo in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. As someone with medium to thickish hair, you’d think I wouldn’t want to use this product. With this being said, it’s a great lineup to use for my in between washes. I do take part in everything showers, so this duo is not included in that activity. There is a subtle scent which I don’t mind, but don’t prefer. My hair feels relatively soft and repaired but nothing to write home about. One thing about olaplex is they are pretty expensive, but a little goes a long way so it is worth the price. I was very surprised that a product aimed at fine hair would have such a good result on thicker hair! Overall I would absolutely recommend this hair care duo.

Ok for fine hair

After trying this product for about 2 weeks, I can finally submit a review about the changes it made to my hair. Overall, I did like the product because it truly is for fine hair. I enjoyed the fragrance and how my hair felt after using the shampoo/conditioner combo. I wouldn't recommend this product unless you were going to use it with the conditioner because the product works best when you're using it as its intended purpose. I didn't give it 5 stars though because personally I felt it stripped a lot of my moisture away from my hair (and I really need that). Additionally, my hair has been color-treated, and I felt that this shampoo wasn't damaging my hair, but it wasn't making it better either. Everyone's hair type is different, though, so if you're considering getting this, I would get the set and try it out. (received as a part of an educational promotion.)

Let me start by saying: I have fine hair. The kind that goes flat five minutes after a blow-dry, tangles like it's auditioning for a knot-tying competition, and somehow still manages to get greasy and dry at the same time. Enter: OLAPLEX No.4 FINE Bond Maintenance Shampoo, aka my new hair therapist. First of all, the scent? Subtle, clean, and fancy in that “I own silk pillowcases and drink cucumber water” kind of way. 💅 Second, the texture? Lightweight but still makes me feel like I'm treating my hair to a spa day every time I lather up. After just ONE wash, my hair felt like it had finally found its life purpose. It had bounce. It had shine. It respected me. No limp strands, no greasy roots by lunchtime, no poofy weird triangle head. Just smooth, happy, fluffy-but-not-frizzy goodness. Also — and this part feels illegal — my blow-dry lasted two days. TWO. Normally I get about six hours before my strands throw in the towel. If you have fine hair and you're tired of shampoos that either strip your soul or weigh you down like emotional baggage — this is your new holy grail. Post Chemo Hair Approved

I received Olaplex No. 4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo for fine hair as a gifted review, and I was really curious to see how it would work for me. My hair is currently growing back after chemo, and the new texture feels finer and more delicate than before, so finding products that strengthen without weighing it down has been a challenge. The shampoo has a light citrus scent that I love, with a honey-like texture that lathers beautifully. My hair felt truly clean afterward without that stripped feeling. After a week of use, I’ve noticed more shine and smoothness, especially at the ends.

Nice and clean

I have fine, easily tangled, dry and damaged hair. My review for this product is mostly positive. Things I noticed were that the product lathers well and a little goes a long way. I am not an everyday hair washer so my first use I did a single wash, and my next use I did a double wash which is my normal. I do not feel a double wash is needed, my hair felt clean both ways. I shed a lot in the shower and I did notice less fallout with this product. My only negative experience was that after drying my hair, although it felt softer, it felt heavy at first, almost like there was still product in my hair. After a rest period from the blow dryer, this feeling did go away. Perhaps a reaction with the heat from the blow dryer? My hair does feel cleaner longer with this product than my normal shampoo. A must for strong hair

I have really dry hair with lots of split ends, meanwhile my scalp tends to get oily easily. It's really hard to find shampoo and conditioner products that work for both sides. Having tried Olaplex No 4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo and Conditioner combo, the result is quite pleasant. They gave me a luxurious texture. Only a few uses, my hair was noticeably smoother, shinier and stronger. A lot of the breakage I used to experience, are much better now, and I also noticed less hair loss on a daily basis. Did I mention the scent? It was very pleasant and strong staying power, which is a big plus for me. A little bit of product goes a long way, so I am hoping this bottle will last me a couple of month. I like them so much and already got my family and friends hooked on them too, hopefully there are better deals/promotions out there so we can stock up more.

Trying this product for the first time

I tried the No.4 Bond Maintenance Strengthening and Reparative Hair Shampoo for the first time, and honestly, I had low expectations about its cleansing power, but it left me speechless, not only did it make my hair feel cleanwithout any greasy residue, but the scent is pleasant without being overwhelming. The best part is the undeniable result afterwards: shiny, silky hair. Truly a 1000/10! Very good product

I wanted to try this shampoo for a long time and was very happy when I received it as a part of an educational promotion. It has a nice smell, and I like the most that it did not give me flakes and my scalp did not itch after the application like it did after many other shampoos I tried. My hair is long and, surprisingly, it did not require a lot of product for a single use. My hair also felt smooth and not like a rough sponge after I used this shampoo. Definitely like it.

I have been using this for 6 years now. I can’t imagine using anything else! So thankful my hairdresser introduced me to this product! I use the shampoo, conditioner and leave in conditioner.
