Not for sleek looks

I wanted to love these as much as I love the scrunches. Sadly they leave ridges when you tie your hair with them. Also they stretch very easily so they never feel really secure. I cannot ever get these to work in my hair without leaving the ridges in my ponytail. I think this is due to them not having smooth edges when you grab your hair. I see these working better for curly hair or messy buns. However I like a sleek middle part in my mid height pony tail/sleek buns and these are NOT it.

Broke apart

Liked it for a few days until it broke while trying to tie my hair. Quite unfortunate considering the price point of this item. Will likely buy cheaper similar hair ties going forward

These are great. They stay put and don’t leave a mark in your hair when you remove the ponytail. They do stretch out eventually

Great for thick hair and it doesn’t leave a dent/mark in your hair like traditional hair ties when you take it out.

I bought these about a year ago, and two out of three have already snapped in half. The original (non-slim) invisibobbles seem to have be much stronger, more flexible, and/or better quality: I had those for several years before I needed to replace them. These work (as in, they don't snag on the hair, and they get the job done) but they haven't lasted as well as I expected. Unless you have extremely fine hair, I would recommend the original over the slim.

Can't use any other hair elastic

I have been using this hair elastic for at least 5 years now. I use it for every hairstyle that involves an elastic. I have very thick, wavy and puffy hair. My hair would always get knotted in other hair elastics, as a result putting my hair up was always a hassle. Unlike other hair ring elastics, the invisibobble lasts for a really long time, I always have one on me either in my hair or on my wrist. I even use it in shower when I want to keep my hair up. I usually only change the elastic when it tears, sometimes my one elastic lasts me over a year, sometimes 6 months. I literally hate and physically cannot use any other elastic aside from invisibobble.

Not for curly hair

Not sure why these are recommended for curly hair. They get tangled in my hair. Basic thick black hairbands are better for my curly hair.

Best hair ties on the market, good quality and thin. They don’t pull on my hair or take half my head of hair when I remove them. Stays secure throughout the day without having to adjust

Really love these and use them every day in my thick hair! The only downfall I have with them is they start to stretch quite a bit after some use but that could be due to my thick hair. For those with thin hair, I feel this problem wouldn’t be as much of a concern!

Love these — they’re also pretty as bracelet when not used for my pony tail!

Love these and this color is really pretty alot nicer to have some coloured hair bands rather than just the sa,e old black

Avoid the clear ones s they discolor and end up looking dirty. These really hold your hair in place. Girls with thinner hair - this is great because it makes your ponytail seem thicker due to the dents of the spirals (not sure if that makes sense but basically makes your hair look thicker). But it’s plastic so it will really tug and pull on your hair. Pretty damaging in that sense. Overall if you want a ponytail to not move this is for you.
