Good but too pricey for what it is

Beautiful formula and colour on my fair skin. However I have 2 cons : 1. It is really pricey, 2. It is not clean. I just think there are better options out there and cheaper. Would not repurchase.

soft light reddish colour, good staying power

this stain is so so amazing,the colour glides perfectly on dry lips like mine. and over it the great thing is it has good staying power despite being glossy n hydrating.colour is so cool too

Color, Shine, Flash and gone!

I first tried this product through a make over at Sephora. I love the color and the shine! It has some staying power, but after food and drink it's time to reapply. I wish the scent was lighter but overall good product.

It’s okay. Not too shining as I imagine. From this high-end brand, I have better assumptions. But it turns out to be not as good color as I thought. I returned it. You can buy a $14 lip gloss or something that applies with the same result. Or even better, just saying.

Beautiful packaging. Good deal on sale. I purchased shade 11 Rouge Gouache.....refer to picture for size comparison with a quarter and for swatch . I switched this and immediately took a picture....went to wash it off and it had stained my hand....so know the staying power is full blast once absorbed .

Manufactured more than 2 yrs ago

Purchased for a gift but when I checked the batch code it was manufactured in April 2018 (Ordered/Received in July 2020) meaning this product can be used for only 9 months from purchase. Kind of disappointed as it is hard to finish a lip product in 9 months (Suggested use period is 12 months on packaging). Would appreciate if sephora sells newly made products that are less than 18 months old... Had this experience last time I purchased YSL lip in different color. But other than that, I’m satisfied with the purchase as I’m fan of YSL products.

Perfect Lip Color

I was skeptical, especially given the high price. But this product is amazing. It moisturizes lips and leaves a light stain when it comes off at lunch. The Coral #7 color looks completely natural, so it is perfect or the office, weekends, every day wear. My lips look fuller. It is not shiny/ slick like many glosses but also not that dried-out matte look.

It's my favorite

This is my favorite go-to lip product. I'm on my second tube! I love how easy it is to apply and it lasts through a whole work shift without reapplying. It does come off a bit when I eat or drink but it's not enough to really bother me. I also love that it's glossy but not sticky.

PLEASANTLY SURPRISED :)

Before purchasing, I was skeptical about this product. I never tried a glossy lip stain before so I wasn’t sure what exactly I was getting myself into BUT let me tell you... I was pleasantly surprised with the results. It applies very smoothly and the colour actually lasts a long time. It doesn’t feel as sticky as other typical lip glosses and it’s not as dehydrating as the other lip stains (and lipsticks!) I’ve tried in the past. So, overall I believe that this is a worthy purchase especially if you’re going for a more “shiny” look. :)

best lip gloss purchase

I was taking a chance purchasing this without knowing how it'll look on my complexion. I have slightly dark skin for an asian woman and this looks great on my complexion. I honestly think it's the best shade I've ever purchased (and I've tried a lot from mac, bobby brown, nars, dior). It also gives a natural sheen so it's the perfect amount. Not too glossy that it looks like you put hair gel on your lips. I hope they never discontinue this color. The name on the box is "corail acrylic" but it is number 12.

I just received mine in the mail and I LOVE it! I was very skeptical about the color I chose because usually, it is a hit or miss for me in the pink department. Especially with lip colors. But, this...this turned out to be one of the best purchases I've ever made!! Highly recommend!! YSL doesn't disappoint.
