Great Subtle Glow

I've had nothing but unpleasant experiences with tanning products because they'd always turn out orange and/or transfer to my clothes, but I decided to give this one a try since I'm a fan of Coola's other products. It's easy to apply, smells nice, and gives you a great glow, so I'm actually really pleasantly surprised! It doesn't give you the darkest tan though, so it's only ideal if you want something subtle. I deducted a star because the price point is crazy high, though I will likely still re-purchase because it is honestly the best tanning product I've found so far (especially considering how clean the ingredients list is).

Looove this stuff!! Finally a moisturizer and tanner in one! Doesn’t transfer hardly at all, I’m not afraid to wear white anymore! Doesn’t get very dark but it says that in the description. It’s a nice light tan so that I don’t look like Casper anymore! Only downside is I went through it quite quickly cause I use it after every time I shower so I wish it wasn’t as expensive.

Beautiful but needs to be darker

This product smells so delicious and im the pickiest person when it comes to fake tan smell okay. It’s a dry oil so it does dry completely within 5 min and then u may get dressed and go about your day. So far it’s been the most simple application ever. U sprits on and rub slightly to blend. But the colour isn’t dark enough. I just did a second application after 3 hours and it’s not really a tan. More of a glow...that’s probably why it smells so good there’s not much self tanner in it. I do recommend and I will continue to use. I could even use it as a moisturizer after shower because it’s very hydrating and comfortable to wear! I’m pale as snow though. And it didn’t give me much colour. Maybe a good base for another tanning product after. Going to layer it with something else. Doesn’t transfer on clothes either.

Wanted to love....

Really wanted to love this but the colour comes out orange and the lack of colour guide makes it a little difficult to use. It does fade nicely, but oh goodness was it difficult to get the orange off the first two days!

Amazing

So far I really love this product, it’s the first self-tanner I’ve used that was ACTUALLY transfer free. They all claim to be but they all lie! Lol. However, I wore white a few hours after putting it on and there was zero transfer! Mind. Blown. It’s also the easiest and most mess free tanner I’ve ever used. I knocked off a star because I don’t like the smell, I thought it would smell like the beach. I was stoked on basking in a pina-coconut paradise but instead I got flowers trying to cover up that typical self-tanner soya sauce tinge. I prefer the smell of other self-tanners to this one tbh but the formula can not be beat! Hands down!

Bad application process

I didn’t like the clear application. I missed a lot of areas. The colour was nice though.

It's meh

This tanner isn't bad but at the same time it isn't great. Ok, yea it smells nice but my lord it goes everywhere and when they say wash your hands they also mean wash the soles of your feet or they're gonna be orange. For this price I expected much better. It does have an orangey tone to it, maybe on a darker complexion it looks better and it only builds up to a light tan. I've used more than half of the bottle already and I'm still waiting for that build-able tan to appear that was promised. This product is very expensive. Would I buy it again, no. It's not worth the price it is retailing for.

I wanted to use a self tanner other than St. Tropez just to switch it up. I naturally have pretty pale skin and this stuff goes on beautifully - no streaking or patchiness, smells good compared to other options and is very moisturizing. Does not break out my acne prone skin either. My only issue is 1) the price, and 2) it feels like it lasts for a day and then disappears?

I’m not sure if this stuff really does anything great, I’ve used it overtop of my self tanner but it does smell amazing & I probably wouldn’t purchase again considering the price of it.

Wow! Ok, this is an expensive product. But when I think about all the money I've wasted every year on cheap products that streak and look orange, I wish I'd have found this years ago. I am extremely pale, so most tanning products look ridiculous on me. This one looks exactly like the colour I almost get to on the last warm day of September just before Winter rolls around again. It's so natural looking! It's also very easy to apply with no streaking. I am amazed! If you're a fan of the intense tanned look I'm not sure this is the right product; although I tend to spray light so maybe you could get there. But if you're looking for a natural glow I would definitely recommend this product. It will be my Summer go to from now on.

Buy this now. It is amazing. I have tried every self tanner on the market and this one is no comparison. I have been using st.tropez for years but this is a million times easier with nicer color. It’s a totally even, natural looking tan. If you are looking for something to turn you super dark this is not it but for every day glow, it can’t be beat.

I bought this unsure of what to expect and I am so happy with it! It gives you a natural looking tan and is easy to apply yourself. One negative is that It does have a scent, but it is not as bad as most tanning products so I am ok with that. Definitely recommend!
