No.5 Fine Bond Maintenance® - Balsam

One of the best in the market

I've used the Nº.5FINE Bond Maintenance Conditioner for a week now in conjunction with the matching shampoo and already it has made a difference in how my hair feels and looks. I have fine hair, so I'm always a bit wary of conditioners since most weigh my hair down or make it appear greasy within a day. This is different as it is so light but still gives me the moisture that I need. It feels like it gets absorbed into my hair instead of coating the surface. From the very first wash, I could feel how smooth and detangled my hair was as soon as I rinsed it out. I normally have to struggle with knots after I wash my hair, but with this conditioner my brush just glides through. It also makes styling really easy and even when I let my hair air dry, it still feels soft and manageable instead of limp. I love that it keeps my hair feeling hydrated and moisturized without losing any volume, which has always been my biggest issue with conditioners. After using it for a week regularly, I can also start to see my hair looking healthier. I've noticed that I have less breakage when brushing my hair and less tiny flyaway hairs sticking out, making my hair look sleeker overall. My ends aren't as dry and my hair has some strength to it, almost like it's developed some sort of resistance to daily heat styling. It with the shampoo has really brought out the best results as together they keep my hair light, fresh, and bouncy, but still give it the care that it needs. I also like the fact that it does not leave any heavy residue behind. There are conditioners that make my hair feel like there is still something coating it, but this one rinses clean and just leaves it silky. The volume actually lasts all day long instead of collapsing a few hours after I've styled my hair. For a fine-haired person, that makes all the difference since it means I don't have to choose between soft, moisturized hair and body and bounce. Overall, this conditioner has been a great addition to my regimen. It gives me the moisture, smoothness, and strength I want without ever weighing my hair down or making it greasy. My hair feels light, healthy, and easier to manage, and it's like it's improving week by week. If you have fine hair and you're in the market for a conditioner that will give you moisture without compromising volume, I think this one is definitely worth trying. One of my favs

I’ve used Olaplex No.5 FINE Bond Maintenance Conditioner together with the Olaplex No.4 FINE Bond Maintenance Shampoo. The conditioner has pretty thick texture, easily spread on hair. I’d say I needed average amount of the conditioner based on the length of my hair. The conditioner did nourish my hair, it felt like I’m having my frizz get down, and I’ve got this favorite feeling of slightly sleekly hair ( when wet) but sleekly enough to keep the volume of my hairstyle. After using the conditioner I had no problem brushing my hair (nor styling). It all felt very well, the hair had some body , shine, volume and good healthy look. I also like the light smell conditioner has. Overall I’ve got a good impression and it would be of of my favorites for my hair type. I’ve got fine long natural hair. Great conditioner!

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I did enjoy this conditioner. I used it after using the no. 4 shampoo and found that the products worked well together. This conditioner has a pleasant light scent that lingers throughout the day. The texture is very nice as well. It is thick and creamy and a little does go a long way. I do feel like even though this product is a little on the price end that it will last you quite a while. Although the texture is thick it did not weigh down my naturally thin hair. I noticed that my hair was a lot easier to detangle after using the conditioner. I also found that my hair had less frizzy and more shine throughout the day. Overall I would recommend this product to someone with fine hair that is looking for a hydrating conditioner that won't weigh your hair down.

Hydration Without The Heaviness

I’ve been a loyal fan of Olaplex for quite some time, and this conditioner only reminded me why I keep coming back to the brand. My hair is pretty dense, but the texture varies with finer baby hairs throughout. While my hair tends to naturally hold volume extremely well, the wrong conditioner can quickly turn that volume into a heavy, greasy mess. This one doesn’t. It adds lift without feeling stiff, hydration without feeling weighed down, and softness without leaving any gross, oily residue behind. The difference in my hair texture is especially noticeable when using the conditioner with the matching No. 4 shampoo. After rinsing the shampoo out, my hair actually felt pretty dry and stripped because of how thoroughly the shampoo cleansed it, but the conditioner balanced everything out almost instantly. My hair went from feeling really parched to smooth, soft, and manageable in just a few minutes. It also detangled my hair and once my hair fully dried, it still felt clean and soft instead of feeling like it was coated in heavy product. One major thing to mention though is that the bottle feels small for anyone with long hair. Since my hair is bleached and falls down past my waist, I had to use a lot more conditioner than I did the matching shampoo in order to fully saturate it. Because the formula is so lightweight and absorbs very quickly, I found myself needing several palmfuls, which means I’ll run out of it much sooner than I will the shampoo. I did try the larger bottle and even with that, it won’t last me through many washes so I wish they offered an even larger option. That said, the results definitely make the extra product worth it. The texture of my hair looked and felt completely transformed after using it, and the volume it gave me felt natural instead of forced. The scent is another major plus. It stays there even after rinsing and drying, which I really appreciate. After using it the first time, I noticed that my hair had that just-left-the-salon smell all day long. Ingredient-wise, it doesn’t contain proteins and is made with deeply moisturizing ingredients such as avocado oil and grape seed oil. Those are some of my favorite haircare ingredients that I actually actively look for when buying heavy duty, deep conditioners. Also, since I have bleached hair, it does best without proteins but with as much hydration as possible so this was the perfect mix for my hair. Overall, this conditioner impressed me with how effectively it restored moisture and added body without dragging my hair down. It left my hair feeling strong, smooth, and healthy after the first use. So healthy

This conditioner has been so good for my fine hair. It feels really lightweight but still gives my hair the moisture it needs without weighing it down. After using it, my hair feels soft, smooth, and easier to manage. I also notice it looks a little fuller and healthier, which is hard to find in a conditioner for fine hair. I got these products for free. It's incredible. After using this shampoo and conditioner, my hair feels like it's been in the salon. It's straight, feels nice to the touch, and the smell is just incredible. I definitely recommend this combination, especially for those who want their hair to be shiny and straight and frizz-free. And it also seems to have added volume.

Helped Get Rid of My Split Ends!

I have been using the Olaplex No4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo and the Olaplex No4 Bond Maintenance Conditioner for about two weeks now. This product has helped to transform my hair! I have thick, wavy hair that can be unmanageable at times and has a lot of damage from heat tools and hair coloring. My hair is loaded with split ends. This shampoo and conditioner honestly seems like it is reversing all the damage! After two weeks of use I see a significant decrease in split ends and my overall hair texture seems smoother and less frizzy. You don’t need to use a lot of this product in order for it to work- the shampoo suds a lot and the conditioner works through all of my hair well. I use maybe a quarter sized amount of shampoo and a half dollar sized amount of conditioner. It also has a very pleasant, light fragrance that leaves my hair smelling very clean. Not my favorite

I received this product as a part of an incentivized promotion. I was excited to try because I have fine hair that I color treat. This product did not do too much for me. It definitely helped my hair looked less frizzy, but it also made it feel dry. The smell was not particularly appealing for me personally. But it does spread through the hair well, so a little goes a long way.

Must-Have for Wavy, Porous Blonde Hair

I’ve been using the Olaplex No.5 FINE Bond Maintenance Conditioner together with the shampoo, and I absolutely love how it works on my hair. The conditioner acts quickly, instantly softening and nourishing my strands without weighing them down. Softer hair!

I tried this conditioner From Olaplex in exchange for my honest review and I was pleasantly surprised at how soft it has made my hair. My hair is generally a rough, unmanageable mess that I dislike - but after using olaplex bond maintenance shampoo and conditioner -My hair feels a lot more manageable, it’s very soft and what I really liked about the product is that it smells very nice, like orange blossoms. The shampoo is quite thick and it is easy to lather. All of the directions as stated on the bottle I didn’t lather rinse and repeat. I just wash my hair that one time and I feel like it made a very big difference. I’m going to continue using this to see how my hair reacts with it but so far so good and I’m very excited to continue. I woke up this morning with very soft hair, which is a big change to how it has been lately.
