Great Shampoo

I received this shampoo as part of an educational promotion. I have used Olaplex before and I have been a fan, and this shampoo No. 5 for fine hair was no different. As someone with really fine and color-treated hair, I need a shampoo that will not knot my hair and still gives me a clean feeling. The Olaplex shampoo produces a great amount of suds and a little goes a long way. After shampooing and blow drying my hair, my hair felt smooth. Something that it has not felt in a while, since my hair texture has changed due to aging. I got my shine back and noticed a change its manageability. The shampoo provided a perfect balance of a clean wash and a great outcome. I would totally recommend.

Makes my hair soft!

Thank you so much for to beauty tap and olaplex for sending me this product to test out! I liked this a lot! It definitely made my hair smell amazing for all day long. It also helped detangle my hair very easily which was nice. It didn’t make my curls as defined as other conditioners do, but it still made it feel soft. Overall I would recommend because it is a good product!

Olaplex #4 Bond Maintenance Conditioner

I want to preface this by saying that I am not sure that I have the correct hair type for the Olaplex #4 fine bond maintenance conditioner. With that being said I received this product in exchange for my honest review. I used both the shampoo and conditioner of this set together. Let me start with the good things. They both felt very nice on my hair. The conditioner felt very emollient and hydrating on my hair. It felt very silky after I rinsed it out. After air drying but before any styling or products I felt like my hair was overall smoother, however I was having some static issues which is not normal for me so I can only assume that it was my change in hair care. May not be something everyone experiences but I felt it was worth noting. I do have other Olaplex products including the regular bonding shampoo and conditioner and did not experience this. Also I feel like the shampoo and conditioner smell kinda odd. I don’t care for the scent personally. With all of that being said I think Olaplex makes amazing products and if you have fine hair that needs some volume boost this might be a great conditioner choice for you.

You need it!

Conditioner is always tricky for me because I have fine hair that gets weighed down so easily. I want my hair to feel soft and smooth, but not greasy or flat. Most conditioners I’ve tried in the past either leave me with limp hair by the next day or don’t give me enough moisture to prevent tangles and breakage. That’s why I was really curious to try the Olaplex conditioner for fine hair. Since I had already been using the shampoo, I wanted to see if the two together would make a difference. After using this conditioner consistently for a few weeks, I have a lot of thoughts about how it worked for me.

Difference in my hair

I have curly hair so I detangle my hair once I put the conditioner on and I felt like I had to use more conditioner than I normally do with this one. I took a bit longer to detangle my hair, but that aside, I will say that my hair was very soft when I got out of the shower. I have dead and damaged ends, but it hasn't been as noticeable after using this. I also see more shine in my hair. I received this product as a part of an educational promotion.

Will never use this conditioner again

I have used this Olaplex conditioner now 3 times and each time it left my hair more dry than what it normally is and where it pulled my hair out just trying to brush it while it was wet. I had to follow up with my usual brand of conditioner just to get a comb through my wet hair. I do not like this conditioner at all.

Great conditioner

I received this as a part of an educational promotion. I have never tried products of this brand before, but I have heard good reviews, so I am so glad that I was able to try products of this brand. The conditioner is quite good, especially after the shampoo, which cleanses well, porous hair requires additional moisture and nutrition, which is what the conditioner provides, and after drying with a hairdryer, they look light and fluffy, with this product in a set with shampoo this has not happened yet, but there is a significant improvement, I also want to note that volume has appeared, perhaps this line is not so much aimed at protecting against dryness, but overall I liked the product, I will gladly take this product again.

Love this conditioner!

I am a huge fan of this conditioner! I was not expecting to enjoy this conditioner as much as I have. It takes a lot to impress me with a conditioner because I have very fine hair. I want something that is going to strengthen my ends but also not weigh them down and make them look greasy. This conditioner has helped my ends look really healthy but not oily. I love the smell of the signature Olaplex products and this did not disappoint. I was worried that this conditioner might not give me enough hydration because it is made for fine hair, but it did the trick! The regular Olaplex conditioner is a little heavy for my hair but this is great! I highly recommend this conditioner to anyone who has fine and thin hair who enjoys Olaplex. The bottle is great and the product is even better!

I recommend

I got these products for free. It's incredible. After using this shampoo and conditioner, my hair feels like it's been in the salon. It's straight, feels nice to the touch, and the smell is just incredible. I definitely recommend this combination, especially for those who want their hair to be shiny and straight and frizz-free.

Amazing but …..

I received this product as part of an educational promotion and I couldn’t be happier I suffer a very dry hair due to years of processed dye , bleaches & hot tools. I’ve tried everything haircuts hair, masks shampoos everything and nothing has really revived it as much as this. The product smells very luxurious. And a little goes along I first use the shampoo version of this conditioner and once I rinse it I squeeze the water out of my hair and apply a quarter size amount throughout all ends of my hair and while I let it sit in my hair, I wash my body and let it sit for two minutes as requested on the bottle, but I’ve noticed honestly it works best if you leave it in three- five minutes. When you first wash it off, it gives. A plastic feel through out the hair but as soon as it’s dry and styled it makes my hair so shiny. Most importantly I haven’t had much hair loss as before and I’m postpartum! I say get it to revive your hair if it was as damaged as mine!!

Great!

I’ve been using Olaplex No. 5 for a few days along with the shampoo, and it’s definitely helping my hair feel more hydrated and less frizzy. It’s rich but doesn’t weigh my hair down, and my ends look a lot healthier already. I’m giving it 4 stars for now since I’m still in the early stages, but I’m optimistic about the long-term results!

Loving the experience

I am so obsessed with what all Plex brought with the shampoo and conditioner for fine hair. It has root lifting volume as power that turns you from flat to fab. Making hair shiny and beautiful.
