Glossier You Doux – Parfym

Absolutely glorious. The scent is magnificent and wears well. I can’t wait for the larger size to be made available.

Smells like rubbing alcohol

There’s something very astringent about this perfume, which is the first thing that hits me when I spray it on myself. This smell lasted for hours before it dulled down and I was able to decipher what You Doux actually smells like. Two stars because the scent underneath is interesting… though I wouldn’t call it good. I will be giving my bottle to a friend hoping they like it more.

This smells amazing! Slightly sweet and slightly musky without being overwhelmingly “mossy” or earthy.

Smells beautiful

I love Glossier You but Glossier You Doux is even better. I think it smells sexy and delicious. I love it!! Glossier perfumes are the only perfumes that don’t give me a headache. They smell better as the day goes on so you can enjoy it all day.

Subtle, Smoky and Intoxicating

** While reading my review, please keep in mind that Glossier You Doux smells different on everyone, this is just my personal experience ** For years I have been searching for a fragrance like this, something that is soft and reminiscent of the smell of a Buddhist temple, but one that is not so overwhelming that it’s obvious it’s a fragrance. The subtle nature of this perfume allows for the idea that you simply woke up smelling this good to cross not only your mind, but others minds as well. It is a subtle, smoky and intoxicating fragrance that I cannot stop smelling. When initially spraying it on my pulse points, I noticed it seemed quite strong in its scent profile, but after 10-15 minutes the fragrance settles into a pleasant perfume. For the first two hours the projection is at a medium range (if I were sitting across a table from you, you would be able to smell it) and slowly dissipates throughout the day without reapplication. For me, this fragrance lasts up until 6 hours and after that you can no longer smell it, even on my pulse points where it was sprayed. For me, this is quite good lasting power. I recommend spraying this perfume directly on your pulse points, spraying each one separately instead of rubbing your wrists together and then rubbing behind your ears/on your neck. In order to experience the true power of this fragrance, it should be sprayed directly on your skin. If you are looking for a body wash that pairs well with this fragrance, consider the Glossier Orange Neroli Shower Oil as the scents blend very seamlessly together. Overall I would recommend this fragrance to others (if you are unsure about a blind buy due to the fragrance smelling different on everyone, please test the product on your skin in store), and I look forward to seeing if Glossier decides to offer it in a solid form or a rollerball for easier on-the-go application.

This one has an overwhelming smell of just awful. I’m sorry and I do love the YOU scent so much but this did not hit.

Smells Amazing!

I am absolutely in love with Glossier You. I was so hesitant to try a new scent because I loved it so much. When I received You Doux, I wasn’t in love like I was with the original but I was NOT disappointed at all. My wife actually took it from me. It’s a better match for her than I feel it would’ve been for me. I still highly recommend trying it. It has more of a woody scent but it’s not overpowering. It’s soft but still noticeable.
