Black Orchid - Parfum

Unique!

My husband doesn't care much about perfume and would wear anything I bought for him. I hate spicy scents like most men's perfumes so I got this one for him. You'll feel unsure at first spray. But wait for 30mins-1hr, it smells really beautiful! We both fell in love with it and now I'm using it too. I'm getting another bottle for my brother who has been using only Dior and Burberry. This scent will surprise him so much.

Scent is nice

This is my first review. Honestly, I wasn’t a fan of the smell when I first tried the sample, and I didn’t really like the bottle design either. But, I’ve become a little obsessed with the scent! Despite my initial hesitation, the fragrance has definitely grown on me.

smells rich

It's a very strong sent and definitely has staying power. I do not like patchouli, but I think it works well in this perfume. you should definitely try it on in person before purchasing. It's very rich sent.

Blind Buy that Paid Off!

this was a blind buy that paid off!!! The scent is warm, unique, and a standout from the crowd. I am so happy with my purchase this will be my go-to perfume. I cannot wait to use it for years to come

It took me several years to buy this because it was too strong when I sprayed it on the paper tester. But, I kept going back to test it again cause I felt like it was a hit or miss. YEARS later, I sprayed the black bottle on one wrist and the gold one on the right wrist to see how it would react to the oils of my skin... and it truly made a difference. I finally made the decision and bought the gold one! Do not buy these scents without testing on your own skin. It may not smell the same on everybody due to our natural oils. It actually smelled sweet and very intense on me, and the scent has lasted over 9 hours so far. The black bottle's scent was very subtle and did not last long on me, so I'm glad that I did not purchase that one. Do not blind buy. This scent is not for everybody, but give it a chance and try it out!

TF’s Black Orchid

I have been wearing Tom Ford’s black orchid FOR YEARS and it’s the only perfume that would stay on me all day. I never had to spray again on myself though out the day. But something has changed and I can’t smell it after an hour! It’s really disappointing because this has been my signature perfume for a very very long time!

Must HAVE!

I love this perfume! It smells so good. It last all day! This definitely a must have ! I get some many compliments.

I miss you, Tom.

Why?!!!! Tom Ford just had to sell his parfum line to Estée Lauder, and they have already ruined it in the quickest time yet. Lasting power, GONE. The trail this beauty would leave behind, GONE. The STRENGTH, GONE, GONE, GONE. Buy it if you want but it was better before the awful company got it. Tom is gone and so am I.

Beautifully done!!!

I really HATE floral fragrance... and yes this is floral, but this is a beautiful exception. Its got beautiful dark, plumy, boozy and maybe smoky notes to it. You can definitely pinpoint ylang-ylang. The name describes this scent PERFECTLY, when you smell it, you picture something dark and seductive. Once you have a smell of it, and then walk away, you will want another sniff. In my opinion it is definitely a night-time fragrance, or you have to dressed in a dark/seductive way.

Sex in a bottle

Seductive, expensive, boozy, elusive. This fragrance is the perfect marriage of opulence and sexiness. My husband loves this fragrance and I get compliments every time I wear it. Fills every room I walk into without the intrusion of cheapness or being too overwhelming. I recommend this fragrance!
