Self Tan Express - Bronzing Mousse

Amazing for my pale skin during summer!

I have always been a bit insecure about my very pale Irish skin. Recently I got my hair lightened and have been trying to tan. Looking for a safer alternative to sun damage, I started researching spray tan and self tan. I just bought this and applied it with the mit, waited an hour, then rinsed. It gave me an even natural tan and I used the face mist from this brand for my face. I love this product and recommend for all skin tones. I didn’t notice a tropical scent though.

A bit patchy but smells amazing!

I am very pale and I have tried almost every self tanner out there! This one smells the best out of any self tanner I’ve used, however I found it a bit patchy! I know I got everywhere when I applied it, but after leaving it on for 3 hours and rinsing a noticed a lot of spots that looked way lighter than the rest. (I do exfoliate and moisturize before!) I think considering the price I wasn’t expecting it to be this patchy compared to other cheaper self tanners maybe I’m just too pale lol!

Go to product for someone who has tried em all

I’m a veteran with self tan products and this is my new go-to choice. The color payoff for the time spent is unmatched compared to every other product I’ve tried. I hate sitting in the stinky, sticky self tan stuff - every product is going to have that smell and feeling, including this one. But with this product, you only need to endure that for 1-2 hours and you come out on the other end with a great tan. As with any self tan product, prep and application matter if you want a streak free tan that lasts (this is your job to get right, not the products. Watch some YouTube videos on how to prep and apply). I get 7-10 days of color with this product. Starts fading around day 5 but still mildly noticeable by day 10.

I really like it. I switched from IoP just to try something new and St Tropez has long been a reputable brand for self tanners. The tint gives juuuust enough guide color to help apply it evenly. I didn't find it sticky or see it run or rub off anywhere on clothes, running into corners of the wall, etc lol. I was surprised how quickly it felt like it was absorbing so you have to move quickly, but that was also really nice because the application was super quick and I didn't feel I had to wait too long to get dressed. Many tanners say they don't have "the smell" - right out of the bottle and during application it definitely did not smell. I can still smell the faint DHA scent once it starts developing, I don't think you can ever fully eliminate that. But it definitely was nowhere near as bad as other brands. It's amazing how naturally glowy the results are after just an hour; I still prefer to do the full 3 hours or even overnight. Some brands I have to wash off just because that DHA scent haunts me, but this one is so mild it did not bother me at all to develop longer.

The smell is not all that noticeable compared to the original in my opinion but fun to mix it up for the same price. I do find that this formulation was slightly stickier and took a bit longer to dry down than the original. I did feel that the color was slightly darker however, which I appreciated!

It is a very nice self tan mousse! It is very easy to apply on, and it does not leave any strikes. I like that it gives a nice natural tan without being orange. I will definitely buy this again!

Fake tan

Got this for my daughter works well and doesn’t go too deep in the tan. Pricey but does smell lovely

Got my 14 year old daughter some for Xmas as she's quite pale and wanted a light tan. Really didn't see much difference over this and the Solait brand which is a lot cheaper. Decent stuff but very pricey and it seems a lot of that is a social media thing.

Always a repurchase!

This is my all time favorite self tanner! i’ve used it since high school and anytime i’ve tried to switch i always revert back to this one. It leaves a bronzed look on my skin without looking too orange & is never streaky.

Y’all St Tropez has perfected the self tan formula. This glides on and blend in like butter, feels so moisturizing and comfortable….. A WINNER

Best tan ever

Super long lasting and doesn't transfer when wearing. I don't typically use tan at all but when I do I will always use this one!
