Game Changer for Perfectly Straight hair

I would highly recommend the Color Wow Dream Coat because it is truly worth every penny. I have really wavy hair, and sometimes it’s tough to straighten. What works best for me is drenching this product into damp hair and then blow-drying with tension. This method helps me get my hair as straight as possible before I even use a straightener. Yes, I do still use a straightener after, but the magic happens afterward—my hair stays perfectly straight even in the hottest, most humid weather. One time, I tried it on a stormy, rainy day, and honestly, it blew me away how well it held up. My hair didn’t budge at all. The product lasted amazing through the entire day. I can’t stress enough how much I recommend this! It’s seriously so good, it works like a dream, and your money won’t go to waste.

Does not work - AT ALL

I have 2C hair type . Went to cuba and I did use wow a day before arriving at cuba . As soon as i landed at cuban airport my hair started to become frizzy . In short product was completely useless

Not Compatible With Dyson Airwrap

I knew that this required heat to activate but what I didn’t realize was how MUCH heat is required to activate. I thought my Dyson Airwrap would be fine to active it but I could not get it to work and it just made my hair frizzier and my curls lasted less long. I tested it on a normal non humid day, I tested it at the beach, and overcast slightly rainy day, it didn’t protect my hair from frizz in any circumstance and my styles were less locked in than usual. I found out it requires about 300-400 degrees to activate and my Airwrap at the setting I use doesn’t even get to half of that. I don’t use any other styling tools in order to keep my hair healthy so that rendered this product useless to me and I returned it. I don’t recommend it if you use a Dyson Aiwrap

I'm glad I bought the mini.

I used this product three times trying to figure out the best application method for my desired results. It was not effective for my silk pressed natural hair. The results were not as smooth as with other products and the anti humidity didn't last for more than a day. May work for some but not for me. I'm glad I bought the mini before investing in the full size product.

weird smell

I've used this a few times now and considering the very little results/lack of obvious effectiveness, and the weird smell, I'd say that it is safe to pass on this product. I just can't stand the smell! It smells almost like saliva it's just so weird. I will say it doesn't seem to weigh my hair down or make it look greasy, but it also doesn't really seem to do anything to my hair after lots of time blow drying, using a brush, etc!

My hairdresser uses this on my hair when I get silk presses so I thoughtI’d try it out during my at home maintenance wash days. HOLY GRAIL. If you’re looking for a heat protectant that is going to give you amazing results…look no future. And this is coming from a novice. My hair looks like I left the salon after using this product on my own. A must have.

Not for thick hair

I have a lot of hair and it is very thick and frizzy. I bought the mini to bring with me to Florida. My hair felt and looked like it had a lot of product even in pictures, it just made my hair look weird, maybe controlled the fizz a teeny tiny bit!? But for it to feel and look the way it did I won’t be using it again. I gave it to my mom who has thin hair and she loves it. So maybe if you have thick hair and lots of it, this isn’t for you ☺️

Meh

I didn't realize it was for curly hair (which I do not have). It didn't do much for me, so I gave it to my mother, who has kinky curly hair. She said it didn't do much for her hair either. We live in the south and were hoping it would help with frizz from humidity. It doesn't.

Less dream, more nightmare

I’ve used this product twice and both times it has made my hair greasy and string while somehow still not protecting my hair from the humidity at the top. So greasy bottom strands and frizzy top strands is how my hair was for days. I’m not willing to try it a third time. I had to throw my hair in a claw clip to hide the grease before going to work. I tried using significantly less than the recommended amount the second time and still had the same result, sticky stringy bottom strands and frizzy top. This is a hard no for my fine thin hair.
