As someone who’s on a budget, I often try to skip conditioner. I find that most conditioners leave my hair feeling too greasy. I usually use conditioner once or twice a week because many products weigh down my hair without adding any nutritional value. I do use a hair mask once a week, which is why I believe I can go without a daily conditioner. OLAPLEX No. 5 FINE Bond Maintenance Conditioner is a must because it leaves my hair feeling soft for hours. I struggle to find a balance between lightweight, tamed, and well-controlled hair versus frizzy, healthy hair—but can frizzy hair really be considered healthy? Since I started using OLAPLEX No. 5, I’ve noticed that my hair feels much healthier. It is smooth to the touch and definitely a lot easier to brush. I haven’t noticed much breakage or hair falling out, which can be a big concern for individuals like myself who have frizzy, tamed curls. Amazing! Helps Fine Hair, Adds Shine!

I have fine hair that gets oily fast, so finding a conditioner that hydrates my fine hair without weighing it down can be challenging. Olaplex No.5 Fine Bond Conditioner does exactly that!! Their formula feels so silky and smooth, it spreads easily through my hair, all the way to the ends. I love that it also rinses out cleanly without leaving any heaviness or buildup. After using this, my hair is so soft and manageable. I also noticed that my ends looked healthier and smoother, less frizz and more shine. My hair styled beautifully without losing volume. The scent is subtle and I appreciate that it pairs nicely with their shampoo. This is the perfect balance, hydration and strengthening without flattening or any greasiness. My fine hair usually gets weighed down by conditioner, but this one feels incredibly lightweight while still providing the hydration and nourishment my hair needs. It detangles easily, smooths frizz, and leaves my hair soft, bouncy, and manageable without any heaviness. I’ve noticed my hair feels stronger and less prone to breakage since using it, and the volume actually lasts throughout the day. A bit too light for my bleached hair!

I have been using this conditioner for a week along with the matching shampoo. While I concede that I’ve only been using it for a week, this conditioner isn’t for me personally. It is extremely lightweight, so much so that the first time I picked it up and poured some in my hand I thought I had accidentally put more shampoo in my hand. This texture is great for fine hair that needs volume, and while my hair fits that description, I also have dry hair that has been bleached for years. I was impressed by the shampoo but feel that I personally need a bit heavier of a conditioner. My hair looks straw-like which is not my normal hair texture. It is very possible that because this conditioner is volumizing it plumped up the individual hairs and made my hair look like this. While I do not like the way it looks, my hair does feel fuller and stronger. I will continue use to see if my hair adjusts to this set. I was gifted this conditioner in exchange for my honest feedback.

strengthen for fine / damaged hair

I received this product as part of an educational program. I was very excited to try it out because I have very fine straight hair that often doesn't hold volume well. I am also so self conscious of my split ends and breakage on the ends of my hair. This conditioner has really helped strength my fine ends just after a week or so. I have also noticed y volume holding longer after a blow out, and my hair doesn't look dried out. This is after only a week or so. I can;t wait to see the long term improvement after using this in my regular routine.

Silky softness and shine, but more is more

The conditioner has a silky cream texture that spreads easily through my fine hair, though I find I need slightly more than usual to fully coat my strands. I like leaving it in for a few minutes while I finish the rest of my shower routine, and when I rinse, my hair feels soft, smooth, and nearly tangle-free. Once dry, it has a nice flow and movement without feeling weighed down, though the volume isn’t noticeably more than with my usual conditioners. Shine and softness are definitely enhanced, and brushing through feels easier with fewer snags. Overall, it delivers hydration and smoothness with a lightweight feel, though I wish it packed a bit more richness so less product would be needed. Thickening

I’m 35 with fine to just shy of medium thickness with some hair thinning and/or falling out starting to be an issue as I’m getting older. After shampooing and conditioning with this set I do feel like my hair has a noticeable extra thickness to it, and after blowdrying I think it feels like it has more volume than it does after washing with other products, even with no additional styling product put in it. I don’t particularly care for the smell but I think this is just what most Olaplex products smell like, just a little chemically smelling for my liking. I may have noticed a little extra fallout than usual so that seems counterproductive but will continue to use to see if it seems to strengthen my hair after longer term use. I also wish it left my hair feeling a bit smoother after rinsing, still has that squeaky clean kind of feeling. Great Shampoo

I received this shampoo as part of an educational promotion. I have used Olaplex before and I have been a fan, and this shampoo No. 5 for fine hair was no different. As someone with really fine and color-treated hair, I need a shampoo that will not knot my hair and still gives me a clean feeling. The Olaplex shampoo produces a great amount of suds and a little goes a long way. After shampooing and blow drying my hair, my hair felt smooth. Something that it has not felt in a while, since my hair texture has changed due to aging. I got my shine back and noticed a change its manageability. The shampoo provided a perfect balance of a clean wash and a great outcome. I would totally recommend.
