Fine Hair - Refill Shampoo

My reasoning for this review is because of the fact that you have to use so much to get your hair clean i had mine only for two weeks!! and typically even with the portion i was using i still can keep it for 22 months can jeeo

Disappointing & Overpriced – No Results

I’ve been using the OUAI Fine Hair Shampoo for a couple of months now, and honestly, I haven’t seen any noticeable difference in my hair. For the price, I expected much better results. My hair feels and looks the same, and in fact, I saw more improvement when using Olaplex. This just didn’t deliver for me. Save your money, there are better options out there.

This was one of the worst shampoos I’ve used. It leaves a waxy residue behind and the smell is awful. I ended up having to get a blow out and the stylist washed my hair twice with clarifying shampoo to get it out.

Don’t like it

Returning this. I purchased it hoping it would give my fine hair more volume, but my hair went very flat.

Extremely strong perfume

Extremely perfumed and the smell stays with you. This applies to the conditioner and styling products as well. Not for me or any poor people around me subjected to this powerful scent until I use it up. Disappointed.

A must have for me! LOVE!!! Smells amazing.

This is such a great value! I truly LOVE this shampoo. It is very concentrated - a little goes a long way. It cleans well but does NOT strip my hair. It leaves it feeling clean and soft with an AMAZING smell!

Extreme Hair Loss

I’ve used the product for three months and feel I have sufficient evidence to write my review. I would NOT recommend this. It smells great and always left my hair feeling incredibly soft, but from the first use it made my hair fall out in large clumps. Like, clogging my drain after a few days, that’s how much. You could just touch my head in the shower and my fingers would come back with stray hairs. I had to thoroughly rinse my body after rinsing both shampoo and matching conditioner out because my the hairs would be everywhere. I have never had this problem before. I was trying to use up the product by alternating with other shampoo and conditioner sets, but I can’t do it anymore. Literally, one day I could use it and see intense fall out, and then on my next hair wash day two days later I would use a different product and it would again be just a few hairs here and there falling out like normal. It is definitely something wrong with this product.

Horrible buildup and itchy scalp

Both my daughter and I got heavy buildup and itchy head and what felt like dandruff. Had to do regular glycolic acid scalp treatments for the last two weeks to clear it up. Idk how this is on the market.

Loving the shampoo + conditioner combo just after the first use! The scent is very pleasant and mild to me. The shampoo really lathers up nicely and my hair looks and feels glossy afterwards!

LOVE <3

I absolutely LOVE this Shampoo/Conditioner for my extremely thin and fine hair. My hair gets greasy easily due to being thin/fine. This has helped to keep the oils at bay. I can go a couple days without washing my hair now when I used to have to wash every day. The smell is light and clean. I can smell it in my hair even a day later. I gave this 4 stars only taking one star away for the price. This is somewhat pricey for a shampoo/conditioner. However, it’s been worth every penny to me!! I would recommend for anyone with thin or fine hair.

🚩CAUSED INTENSE HAIR LOSS & FALL OUT!!🚩

Started off strong, like a 1st date where you think *maybe* this is the one…my hair looked amazing after that very first wash—shiny, bouncy, full of volume, basically main character energy. I was sold. Fast forward a few weeks and suddenly I’m living in a shampoo-fueled horror movie: hair coming out in clumps, length gone, volume MIA, and my once lush, healthy long Asian hair now feels like it went through three breakups and a dust storm. I didn’t sign up for the “hair thinning surprise” package. It’s giving: betrayal in a bottle. If you enjoy running your fingers through your hair and actually having hair there—maybe skip this one. I wouldn’t wish this damage on my worst enemy. Zero stars, zero strands left, zero chance I’m ever using this again.

Very happy with this!

I've tried a lot of shampoos for my ultra fine hair and I just tried this on a whim. What a stroke of luck! Sooo many products claim to not weigh down fine hair, but those don't often work out for me. I bought this and paired it with the matching Fine Hair Conditioner and I got really nice results. The only con to this product is it does have a strong scent. I like it. I've noticed it stayed on my hair even until the next day, I could see that maybe could be a problem for some people. Another Pro point to the shampoo and I don't know why it, but it suds up so much nicer than the other shampoos I've been using. That allowed me to use less in my opinion and when I have to pay this much for a shampoo that's important to note. I think this is worth a try if you have very fine hair.
