My Holy Grail

Merit is my new holy grail for make-up products, especially lip colors; they live up to the promise of their advertising, and each shade I've purchased is more lovely than the last. I'm so happy!

Not for me, zero impact more like a balm. Color is minimal feeling is weird. Just not something that adds to your look.

Lipstick broke within 5 days

The lipstick broke within a week, it is a known problem with previous iterations of the this brand.

The color is gorgeous. It gives a matte look but at the same time it's very moisturizing and non drying.

Great product, questionable packaging/sturdiness

This lipstick formula is so easy to work with and low fuss. However, I had to deduct stars because after having this for no more than a month, my lipstick fell out of the container onto the floor. I am scared to repurchase because I think it is an issue of how soft the formula is.

Archival is perfect for true summers

Archival is great for fair true summers. I’m a very fair cool/true summer and archival is so perfect as both a blush and lipstick. It lasts much longer than I would expect. It has like a marshmallow texture when you first apply, it’s very comfortable. I also have gamay and it feels a little bit dryer on the lips for some reason

Merit is my favourite brand and this product specifically stands out amongst others. I bought in three shades: September, Archival, Bespoke, and couldn’t pick any as my favourite. They are all beautiful powdery

Worst lipstick I've ever tried, no coverage, no colour quality clumps of lipstick left all over my mouth no colour payoff at all Just wished I'd read the reviews

Romantic, wearable reds

I picked up the Merit Lip Blush in Framboise, September, and Gamay. On my medium‑deep skin tone (Estee Lauder Cinnamon), the shades look quite similar on the lips, with only subtle differences: Framboise leans pink‑berry, September has a brick‑red, slightly orangey warmth, and Gamay reads as a deeper, muted Bordeaux. If you have a similar complexion and are debating between them, you can easily choose just one and still get a flattering shade. The formula is incredibly lightweight—you genuinely forget you’re wearing anything. As lip “blushes,” they aren’t full‑coverage, so those with naturally pigmented lips should keep that in mind. They fade evenly and fairly quickly, so reapplication is needed, but they leave behind a soft, pretty stain. I’m not someone who usually reaches for red tones, yet these feel so wearable that I’ve been using them often. They make me feel polished, confident, and perfectly put‑together for the office
