comforting and fresh perfume

this perfume is so nice I like it a lot, I am a big fan of chypre scents and the rose is a lovely complement and not too heavy. I am almost out of the travel size and am definitely planning to repurchase.

Granny would love

I’m sure this is lovely for someone else however, I couldn’t stand it. It was a blind buy to be fair, but the notes were a bit misleading. This is a very classic/old smelling fragrance. Dry down didn’t change the scent very much. Very rose forward almost soapy.

Not For Me

I bought the travel size blind and sprayed it on. I was having the hardest time trying to figure out why it smelled so familiar, then it hit me: bathroom cleaner! I have used something that smells similar to clean at some point. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not an unpleasant scent by any means—there’s floral notes and a hint of citrus—but now that I’ve made the connection, I can’t unsmell it, as it were. So no, this is not for me.

I thought I liked it...

I first thought I liked this in-store. I usually love Rose/Patchouli scents... but once I bought this and got it home and started wearing it, I just really disliked the dry down on my skin. I can get down with a "Grandma Rose", but this fragrance just makes me feel ancient. Not sexy at all, which is fine. I started really disliking the scent on me. I have to return it. I would say to really try this on your skin for a day before deciding.

I was expecting a rose scent based on the description, but instead it smelled like wood with a "clean guy" manly soap scent mixed in. I think this could easily be worn by a man and would describe this scent as definitely unisex. If I knew it had that type of woodsy scent, I would have never purchased this since that type of scent seems to be headache inducting for me. It went right back.

I enjoy this scent, but it’s not a “sexy” rose scent as implied by the name and description for me. I find it to be a clean, somewhat soapy and aromatic rose. The dry down has a nice vanilla element.

Perfect Spring Fragrance

It smells like flowers with a hint of spice and sweetness. Very powdery and floral, great for the spring. You’ll definitely smell like a soft garden fairy (:

not for me!

I bought this online, which might have been my first mistake. I expected a light, crisp kind of fragrance, and this is not that. It's very heavy and fusty, a bit like the sort of perfume my grandma might wear (not that there's anything wrong with being a grandma). I had to rub and scrub to get it off too.

Sexy, Strong & Sophisticated

This perfume emits sophisticated, sexy and powerful vibes combined with a bit of mystery and slightly threatening energy. On me, it opens with a strong rosy floral and as it dries down the patchouli steps all the way forward. I believe there is a lavender note, which I usually dislike (as in YSL Libre) but enjoy in this mix. For the fragrance aficionados, this perfume was created in collaboration with Francis Kurkdjian and the French refinement je ne sais qois factor really shines.

An Unexpected Favorite!

I’m not a big floral scent person but this one might change my mind. It smells like a mysterious and compelling botanist painting roses in her atelier during a rainstorm — clean, barely restrained rose and dark wood. The scent lingers on my skin but doesn’t have too much sillage so I don’t give myself or others a headache. This was an impulse buy and I’m delighted! I normally wear more stereotypically masculine scents — wood chypres especially. This one is a nice change while still feeling “like me.”

My favorite! Smells very bold and unique I always get many compliments! It is a staple !
