This product is everything I was looking for! What I was in search of in my brow gel: -make my sparse brows appear to have some body on days I do not have time to fill them in -match my new darker hair and pigmented formula -tiny wand so I won't get it on my skin This product stays put and it controls the hairs nicely. It is pigmented enough to not require a lot of work. The tiny brush is a dream. Totally worth the price point. I purchased this after returning the Urban Decay one. It was not pigmented or true to color, despite several coats.

This gel formula does apply a little more wet than a different brand I was using BUT it makes your brow hairs stay in place and more tamed. I love it. I would suggest to try it out in store to make sure that the color is right for you. I don't think the color swatches adequately reflect the actual shades. The formula seems to be highly pigmented so maybe that's why. All in all, I love this product, and it is my new favorite for brow taming.

Good but not for me

I am always in search of a brow gel that has fibers so I originally spoke to an EL CS rep online before choosing my color. I was told the light brunette shade was a warm undertone and that was the one I was leaning towards. My initial thoughts were the wand would be too small , its very tiny but it actually gives a very precise and defined application and goes on a semi wet formula. The actual color was one of the downfalls , for me personally its darker than I prefer. I also think it seems dark for a light brunette and upon swatching it doesn't seem to have too much warmth to it, I think it leans more neutral to warm. The actual formula feels a bit sticky on the brow, like it takes longer to set. I did not keep it on long to attest to longevity, but i will say the swatch alone and the short period of time i wore it, was very hard to get off. I had to go over with my makeup wipe several times, so definitely use a dual phase remover or oil cleanser. It does appear to add volume, but maybe because it added more color?! I did not see any fibers however and that was the factor that made me order. It just looked like a normal gel , very natural on. Since the color didn't work for me i don't think i will be trying another and this one is going back. Brunette will be too dark and blonde is usually too ashy. AND the biggest deal-breaker for me was the size, it is super small! .05oz vs my usual brow gel that is .2oz and only $1 difference (attached a pic below, the left was a little dry as it was an older one that i was about to replace with a fresh tube). If i found a color i liked and it had actual fibers like the one im using now, i might have been able to justify the price. If you are looking for a regular gel that is defined but natural with a small brush and don't mind the size, then you might like it.
