Valentino Voce Viva opens on my skin with a soft mix of citrus and fresh flowers. The citrus note is bright but not sharp, and the floral part feels light and gentle without anything harsh. The scent blends together so smoothly that I cannot point out clear individual notes, it just smells like a soft sweet citrus floral mix. It reminds me a little of a light fruit drink with a tiny bit of sweetness and a soft fresh touch. As the scent settles, it becomes calmer and more quiet. The citrus stays present, but the whole fragrance turns softer and easier to wear. On me it feels airy and almost weightless, which I actually like, because strong perfumes can sometimes give me a headache. This one stays light and soft around me. The only downside is the lasting power. After a few hours the scent becomes very faint, and I can barely notice it unless I reapply. I still enjoy wearing it, but I usually need to keep a small sample with me if I want it to last through the day. Even with that, it is a pleasant everyday perfume with a clean, sweet citrus mood.
