Long Lasting

I had my son test out this product and he just reviewed it as ok. I think it was a little overpowering maybe he wouldn’t use it everyday. Although he thought it was just ok, he did get compliments. What I would say is

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This perfume smells very elegant and it’s perfect for a special occasion but it’s also versatile enough for every day use, it’s not overpowering but it’s very long lasting it smells fresh of lavender with a hint of wood. Smells so good! Highly recommend

On him, it’s warm and spicy right away, not sweet, not fresh, not “just showered.” More like confidence with a little danger baked in. There’s something almost dark about it. Think spices, woods, a hint of something smooth and slightly intoxicating underneath. It smells grown. Intentional. Like he chose this, not like it was gifted to him three Christmases ago. Great for daily wear, office friendly, and easy to spray without thinking too much. Longevity is decent but not amazing. It fades after a few hours and sits close to the skin later on. Sauvage EDP feels smoother and more rounded. The opening is less aggressive and the dry down is warmer with more depth. It still smells modern and clean, but it comes across more polished. This one works better for evenings or when you want something a bit more refined without being heavy. Performance is stronger than the EDT and it lasts most of the day on skin. Sauvage Elixir is a completely different experience. It is darker, spicier, and much more intense. One spray is honestly enough. It has a bold, almost old school masculinity mixed with modern strength. This is not a casual scent at all. It feels best for nights, colder weather, or situations where you want to stand out. Longevity is excellent and it projects strongly. Overall, EDT is the safe everyday option, EDP is the balanced upgrade, and Elixir is the statement fragrance. Trying them side by side really shows how different they are despite sharing the same name.
