Great packaging

My favorite thing about this product is its packaging. The tip that dispenses the serum works great and allowed it to reach my scalp through my thick and wavy hair. I liked how it did not waste product and did not get messy. I divided my hair into several sections to start and then applied from there. After that, I massaged it in and let it sit to do its magic. The texture is lightweight, almost serum-like, and it absorbs quickly, without leaving any greasy or sticky residue. There’s a subtle scent, slightly herbal and clean, but nothing overpowering. It smells similar to other Olaplex products. I gave this product four stars, because it’s not the absolute best product I’ve had for dry scalp and flakes are still present. There are still many great, beneficial things about it though.

Great for Hair Growth, Not So Great for My Scalp

I'm always looking to better my hair care so this time I used the Olaplex No.5 Scalp Longevity Treatment consistently over a 28-day period, and while I was genuinely impressed by the amount of hair growth I experienced, I had a major issue with how it affected my scalp. The product promises to support scalp health, improve hydration, and create an optimal environment for hair growth but in my case, it did the opposite when it came to hydration. After just a few uses, my scalp became noticeably dry and very itchy, which made it uncomfortable to continue the routine. I kept going to give it a fair shot and yes, my hair definitely looked fuller and grew faster but the irritation made it a frustrating experience. I'm giving this 3 stars because the results were visible, but the discomfort really held it back for me. Instantly soothing!

My scalp is absolutely loving this Olaplex No.0.5 scalp longevity treatment! Made for all hair types, is great! My itchy dry scalp was instantly soothed, calmed and comfortable! My hair feels healthier and more able to grow stronger now. I plan to continue using this treatment! Definitely recommend!

Is perfect

I had tried everything for my scalp itch and since I saw this product I said I need it and girls I was not wrong since the first time I used it I noticed the change , since 2022 I am using this hairline and it is the maximum, my scalp no longer has that horrible itch and I feel more moisturized.

Very soothing and calming

I was intrigued by this new product, so I thought I would try it. Its arrival coincided with my hair appointment, I had a full head foil bleach and my scalp was feeling a little tender and I had a few spots/lumps. I thought this was an ideal time to try the solution for an overnight application. Immediately after application my scalp feel soothed, and in the morning the lumps had gone down. Hopefully with regular application I will see the improvement in my hair also.

Love it!

I think it’s a great addition to my haircare routine. I have naturally curly hair, and I straighten it before curling to get a more polished look. Because of my styling routine and product use, I tend to get a lot of buildup on my scalp, so I was really hoping this would help. The application is super easy—the nozzle makes it simple to target the scalp without making a mess. It feels lightweight and absorbs quickly without leaving any residue or greasiness, which I appreciate. I noticed that my scalp feels much more balanced since using this, and I experience less of that heavy, clogged feeling I usually get after a few days of styling products.

I love this product as it keeps my hair and scalp incredibly healthy and it’s truly weightless. I haven’t had an issue or anything with itchy or dry scalp and I highly recommend it!

Very soothing to the scalp

My scalp is typically slightly dry causing hair breakage, it could also be due to my thyroid medication. My scalp is often itchy if braided. This product has provided a ton of relief and constant hydration for my scalp. I applied the product in between my braids or tracks, applying the product is easy with spout nozzle. I didn't have to use much product at all, it disperses and absorbs quickly and doesn't leave a flaky residue. Every time I wash my hair moving forward, after blow drying I will continue to apply this. It's unbelievable, these results you can truly feel and see. Look at how moisturized and healthy my scalp appears. I 100% recommend this and wish I was aware of this in the past. I will continue to purchase as well as look into what else this brand has to offer. This product was provided in exchange of my honest feedback. Soft hair

I have super dry bleach damaged type 2a/2b hair and am a fan of olaplex so I was excited when I saw they released a scalp product. I cut my hair to my shoulders and am trying new products to help it grow. This scalp serum is thin, absorbs easily, not greasy and leaves the hair soft after use. So far I haven’t noticed it making a big difference in my hair other than the softness. I prefer to use it at night so it has time to sit in as it can make my roots flat if I use it during the day. When I use this and braid my hair before bed I wake up with beautiful soft waves and don’t have to use heat to make my hair manageable.
