new formula too fruty

this was my absolute favorite scent ever, was my everyday scent for the past year, however the new formula is way fruitier and doesn't smell like what I fell in love with. it smells like a bath & body spray now... realy hope they can change it back, super heartbreaking

Have worn this 5+ years. New batch is very fruity and pear forward, like they are obviously promoting in their advertising for it now. Very disappointed. I loved this scent bc it wasnt fruity, I dislike really fruity scents. Such a shame. Not sure where I'll go from here.

Leila Lou Perfume Oil

Love the long lasting effect of the oil, however it is a bit too strong, vs. the perfume spray.

refreshing scent

It's a bright and beautiful scent, lasts all day even after a workout.

Different formula from what it used to be!

The formula has changed. If you used to like it 2+ years ago - it is simply not the same (and I still had some to compare!). The smell is different, the formula is watered down rather than pure oil as it was, and it airs out very fast, compared to the old version (and ironically, this was good thing - because the new smell is gross). Bottom line is - it's bad. This was my go-to perfume for many years and I would buy it in batches. Now old the old one has run out, and the new one is not to be found. Too bad. They went cheap and ruined a great thing.

Needs time to blend

The smell is good but does take a few minutes to blend with your skin/oils/pH. Once it’s done that it’s really great and pleasant through the day

Rotten grass at the end

I really like how this perfume opens, very fresh and pear comes through well. For me the jasmine was the next layer I smelled. But then at some point -- while this oil stayed on well enough, it started to turn into a rotten smell. I thought there was no musk mixed within the notes for this perfume, but maybe I'm wrong. I guess it's the grass that comes out at the end that is NOT fresh-smelling and perhaps reacted negatively with my body chemistry. I had such high hopes for this one too.

Scent is great, packaging varies

Scent: The Leila Lou scent is lovely! It is a little bit sweeter than Rosie (my most favorite), but it isn't overpowering or cheap smelling. The perfect scent for summer! Packaging: I like the rollerball style, especially for keeping in my bag. However, some of the roller balls are plastic and some are metal - I purchased the Leila Lou roller ball and the James roller ball in the same order and the Leila Lou was plastic and the James was metal. I think the plastic ball doesn't apply the oil as nicely as the metal ball, and I think that the scent is not as strong with the plastic as it is with the metal. I also had this when I purchased two of the Rosie roller ball, one was plastic and one was metal. I am not sure if they are updating from the metal to the plastic or if they are moving from the plastic to the metal.. it seems to be random as to which roller ball style you get.

I bought the perfume and that lasts so long add this and you don’t need very much and it lasts even longer truly amazing. Great beautiful scents

Exactly what I was looking for

I wear Leila Lou for special events, but I find I have to constantly spritz myself to renew the scent over a short time because this particular scent just doesn’t last on me. The perfume oil changes everything. I still renew the fragrance, but not nearly as often because the oil lasts at least 4 times as long as the spray. I love it because now I can fully enjoy Leila Lou. Highly recommend.

Love this concentrated version

I have Leila Lou in the spray but I’ve been wanting the perfume oil for its longer lasting scent and it doesn’t disappoint. I’ve been using Leila Lou since 2018 and it’s one of my fave signature scents. This perfume oil is perfect as it lasts all day even when you use just a little bit. I highly recommend!
