Forget Frizz - Frissmotverkande balsam

I’ve been using the amika Forget the Frizz Anti-Frizz Conditioner, and it really helps tame my frizz without weighing my hair down. My hair feels smoother, softer, and stays manageable even in humidity. Plus, it smells amazing. Definitely a great pick for frizzy hair!

Smell

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I have recently tried the Amika set, the packaging is pretty, but the scent is overpowering. If you’re sensitive to strong perfume smells I wouldn’t recommend this overall it was ok.

What a perimenopause changer!!

I’m currently going through perimenopause and my hair is driving me crazy!! That is until I found this!! It really does work and isn’t really expensive at all, the ingredients are good and not harmful and the smell is amazing! I came across this by accident really as just liked the colour of the bottle but oh my it’s amazing!

Smooth Condition

This conditioner pairs well with the anti frizz shampoo. It does a great job controlling the frizz and you don’t need to use a lot of conditioner to make it work. I do agree with a review comment that it is hard to squeeze out of the bottle. My hair felt soft, smooth and smells great.

Best Smelling Conditioner

Loved the Amika shampoo and conditioner!! Made my hair incredibly smooth and smelled amazing! Made my hair extremely soft and easy to brush through without tangles. Once I got to 25% left in the bottle it was a tad difficult to squeeze out, however the bottle design looked nice in my shower. Would definitely use again!

Helps to reduce frizz

Smells gorgeous and does not weigh my hair down when applied. My hair is naturally very frizzy and this product help to reduce that and look more presentable

Awful, smells like cheap porta potty hand soap. Tons of acne triggers. I immediately got acne. I don’t know why people rave about this scent? Did help with frizz but left a coating and build up on my hair after one use. Immediately

Amazing fragance and lightweight!

Omg! I love this amika frizz-me-not! The smell is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G !! The texture is light and easy to apply. Doesn't make my hair heavy at all and it keeps it in style. I really love the fragrance and it also hydrates well.

Tame that frizz

This forget frizz anti frizz conditioner really helped to tame my wild hair that tends to go very frizzy in hot humid or damp weather. It has a great not sticky texture and a light scent to it

Not for me

Honestly I’ve tried it multiple times now and I feel it doesn’t work for my hair type. My hair actually feels much more frizzy now that it did before. The packaging can be a bit difficult when squeezing the bottle. I will say it doesn’t smell really nice it’s just a shame it didn’t work for my hair. I wouldn’t buy it

Great conditioner

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This is a great conditioner. Not only does it smell good, but it has also helped my hair. The packaging is cute and also super cool because it is made with recycled materials. Overall, I think this is a conditioner worth your money.

Brilliant at taming frizz and smells AMAZING!

I have prone-to-frizzy hair with a bit of a kink/wave to it and some days, especially in humidity or just a day ending in y, it can look like I've put my finger in a socket. It is dry and also prone to breakage thanks to a past of bleach baths. So needless to say I am always on the hunt for a "miracle" hair product to satisfy all of that. Oh, and also, if it can also help my curly haired but oily scalped daughter too rather than a bathroom filled with differing bottles then all the better! I did say miracle didn't I?! I've got to admit I'd never heard of the Amika brand before but they're definitely a brand I'd buy from again, and not just this conditioner if their other products are as good. For a start, you really don't need much of the conditioner for it to work - and work well. It smoothed my hair right out, made it feel healthier and didn't feel heavy like a lot of anti frizz products can. I don't naturally have greasy hair anyway but sometimes after conditioning I've gotten a greasy like coating feeling on the strands of the hair but didn't have this problem at all. Normally after washing my hair I have to straighten it to look half normal (which of course doesn't help it's condition!) but again I didn't find the need to after using it, and indeed, using the conditioner I felt comfortable going out with my natural waves that had been tamed from frizzy abandon to soft, hydrated almost curls. It was honestly a revelation that this could be possible. Due to the condition of my hair I also like to try and leave some time inbetween washings and felt a lot more comfortable doing this with the Amika conditioner as the lovely scent of it lasted well after washing. Bit weird to go about smelling your hair but that's what it makes you do, it's a pleasant long lasting scent. I would recommend this conditioner to anyone needing a hydration boost to dry hair, that needs frizz tamed and likes their hair to smell nice without resorting to a quick blitz of perfume on the odd day (let's be honest!) However I would not recommend it to my daughter, not cause it didn't work for her different style of hair (it did), but purely cause I don't want her nicking it! She tends to have oily hair but has more pronounced curls and it did well in stripping the oils out the hair without adding more and also helped her curls last and look lovely and pronounced. That's actually why I have only given this amazing product 4 stars and that's the price point from my point of view. It is pricy, but it is a luxurious premium product and not one I'll be letting my 11 year old daughter use in the future! Definitely a brand to look out for.
